Twitter is a network used to express thoughts, opinions, and information to a wide audience. In a professional learning network, Twitter can be used as a news source on topics that you choose to follow, as well as a way to stay connected to other professionals in your field. I have recently followed 4 accounts that relate to educational technology. I followed Vicki Davis, Matt Gomez, Kevin Corbett, and Robert J. Marzano. After scrolling through each of their feeds, I realized that they all had educational technology in common. While maybe using it in different ways, they all expressed how important technology use is in the classroom. I found it interesting that Vicki Davis was tweeting about google classroom because it is something we use in EME 2040. I also found it interesting that almost all 4 of these accounts were tweeting about new apps available for teachers that help implement technology in the classroom.
