Blog Journal 2

1. I have been using Microsoft word for as long as I can remember in school. I remember in elementary school we would use word in our computers class once a week to write small and simple journal responses, for example: "What did you do this weekend?" Moving on to middle school, I got my first laptop and have had a mac laptop ever since. Since middle school to now, we have been required to write and turn in documents written on Microsoft word for various assignments and essays. My teachers have always used this as well, for creating worksheets and keeping track of grades. Microsoft word is a very useful tool and everyone should know how to use it! 2. 1. I have been using technology in the classroom and personally for as long as I can remember. In middle school, I remember having Smart Boards in all of my classrooms. We were lectured from Power Points on the Smart Boards and were able to come up to the board and interact with it. I specially remember using Smart Boards in math classes where we would write the problems on the board and complete them in front of the class. In high school, we also used Smart Boards and used Canvas to keep track of our grades. I got my first laptop in the 9th grade and have had Macbooks ever since then. I have had an IPhone since the 7th grade and am still teaching my parents how to use theirs. I would say that I usually can figure out new technology especially if I can watch someone use it first. 2. In this class, I hope to learn how to use technology sources that I may not understand yet that will help me one day in my classroom. I hope that I can learn them so well that I would be able to teach som...
