1. I have been using technology in the classroom and personally for as long as I can remember. In middle school, I remember having Smart Boards in all of my classrooms. We were lectured from Power Points on the Smart Boards and were able to come up to the board and interact with it. I specially remember using Smart Boards in math classes where we would write the problems on the board and complete them in front of the class. In high school, we also used Smart Boards and used Canvas to keep track of our grades. I got my first laptop in the 9th grade and have had Macbooks ever since then. I have had an IPhone since the 7th grade and am still teaching my parents how to use theirs. I would say that I usually can figure out new technology especially if I can watch someone use it first.
2. In this class, I hope to learn how to use technology sources that I may not understand yet that will help me one day in my classroom. I hope that I can learn them so well that I would be able to teach someone else how to use them as well. Technology is a huge part of education today, so it is very important to know how to use it and implement it into a classroom setting.
3. My own learning style is very hands on, and visual. I like to first watch someone do something and then copy what they did to learn it. I have to hand write my notes in my classes because I have learned that is how I best retain information. I am much more of a visual learner than being able to just hear something and understand it.

I also learn in a very hands-on style and find that the best way to retain information is by writing it, no matter how much simpler it may be to take notes on a computer
